Job Opportunities Job Title: Development VP Employment Type: Part Time Job Description: - Position requires seeking/fostering donor relations. - Applicant must establish objectives & strategies for effective fundraising. - Develop & Implement a solicitation strategy for saught after gift prospects. Including gift amount, purpose of gift, timing of gift, and action steps required to close the gift. - Requires knowledge of grant seeking and proposal writing. Needs to provide the know- how in seeking appropriate grants that fit in with ADC`s core values. Position requires preparation of written proposals, informational materials, gift illustrations, and other materials to secure major grants and planned gifts. - Develop recognition opportunities to recognize capital and endowment support. Demands of Positions: - Extremely flexible part-time position with weekly meeting with President and Chairman of the Board to assess progress and strategy. -Commission based pay. Commission percentage is negotiable. High earning potential. Relative to funds acquired for the organization. Skills Required: Bachelor`s Degree - Knowledge of non-profit sector - 5-8 years (minimum) of related work experience, or must have an extensive networking base within the fundraising field. - Direct experience in making successful personal, face-to-face solicitations for major gifts. - Proven record of accomplishment that demonstrates initiative, creativity, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Will work closely with the president of Company, however are looking for an individual who can manage this department of the organization solely.
